Default Hot water heater paint

Does anyone make (sell) a decal for the three red pin stripes that run horizontal (about half way up) on the two sides of a '39-'40 under-dash heater? That is the one with two vertical doors and the main body is painted grey. Thank you.

The '39 heater does not have stripes. It (the '39 heater) is brown. The '40 heater is gray and it does in fact have the stripes you describe. I sell the proper red stripes. That is, they are the correct color, width and spacing. $7.50 postage paid.

Try a regular body shop. They usually have stripes or know where to get them.

Kube, Do you have any other 40 heater parts, such as the rubber door stops and trim clips that you sell?? A 40 heater motor would be nice too.

Larry Caplan sells a kit that includes the screws and rubber parts for the 40 heater. A phone call works better than an E-Mail or letter.

I contacted Larry Caplan, and he no longer sells the complete kit. I was able to buy a few parts from him, but no door bumpers. I see where he now has a few small kits on e-bay.

Kube, or anyone, Is there an off the shelf brown that matches the 39 heater brown?? I just got a 39 heater, and would like to repaint it. Also, this heater has the door knobs riveted on. Was that normal for the 39 heater?? Thanks

Dave, PM me. Let me know exactly what you need. I most likely have the door bumpers, clips for the trim and perhaps a motor.
