Default Grease Fitting Types and Locations

Is there anywhere that will tell me what type of grease fitting is installed i.e. screw in or press in at each position. Example: I have a fitting on my right rear shock missing but can't tell if it is a screw in or press in. Tried two different sizes and neither would start.

Any help would be appreciated!

There were no grease fittings on the shocks, it was a plug so oil could be added. Or are you asking about the tube type link?

You should be able to feel inside the hole with a small wire or something and tell if there are threads or not. If the fittings you have won't start it's a good chance it's a press in hole. A lot of them were.

I know there is no fitting on the shock, I was in error when I wrote it. I meant to say shock link.

But I'm still looking to find out if there is a list of all grease fittings and what type they are, press in or screw in, all over the car.

A lot of old stuff had 5/16" 24 fittings. I had a hard time matching some up for a 29 Harley.
They're available.

The Parts Price List should also show the fittings and tell which style each one is.
