1934 Ford 4Dr Sedan done
OK pretty much done there is a parade and car show Sunday in Hermosa SD may take it there...
The top I filled with 1/4" Luan plywood as described on a post here. Big mistake....a Model A or 1932 B has wooden bows AND wood around the perimeter of the opening...1934 does not have the perimeter wood to screw to...so the ply tended to buckle up on outer edge between bows...had to improvise with additional 1 1/4" long 6-32 screws and little metal "L" brackets clamping to the underside of metal tach strip in between bows...really stuck it to myself as I already had pink foam installed between bows and the headliner (cheapo indoor-outdoor carpet). So the fix was a time consuming mess but it finally came around... |
