Gas Line Size?
What is the gas line size from the sediment bowl to the carburetor?
I am going to make a custom gas line and would like to buy a length of gas line tubing at the auto parts store and need to know the size. Thank you in advance. Jim |

Re: Gas Line Size?
I used 1/4 in. brake line to make lines for my speedster. The original type fittings that I got from Bratton's slipped right on and sealed up nicely at the carburetor. On a related note, I am having trouble sealing one of the flare type fittings that are part of the brake line. I know it's the flare that makes the seal so I haven't used any sealer. Does anyone have any ideas. Thanks. Howie

I bought a 6 foot section of brake line today and am going to custom make a fuel line for my Model B carburetor to the sediment bowl with the proper bends, so it looks like it is suppose to be there. Any other thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. Jim |
