Re: Hi from Europe
About that carb, I was wondering just what it was. If it's for a tractor, you may want to check if it's moving enough air for the displacement. Just a thought. We generally up grade with a later, Zenith mod. B (1932-1934) carb. with a 1.300 throat. A standard Mod A zenith carb has a 1.000 throat.

Re: Hi from Europe
IIRC Port Wenn is in Wales (Cymru)! I've been there (Wales) and it's all it appears to be. The spectacular tides. fishing boats grounded at low tides, a new set of scenery every two hundred yards you go down the roads. and nice friendly people (For the most part, anyway) I never met any Doc Martin types.

In real life the actor who plays Doc Martin (Martin Clunes) loves Cornwall and any Doc Martin fans might also be interested in his 2000 film Saving Grace as it was set and filmed in the same area. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saving_Grace_(2000_film) |

Re: Hi from Europe
Looks good.
"... The cars that you see around and about from the 1920s and 1930s tend to be from French manufacturers but I expect that the Model A will be made welcome by the enthusiasts." If you have any problems ... print off a copy of this spiffy certificate and stick it on the windscreen: http://www.the-saleroom.com/en-gb/au...1-a409010997c1 Should do the trick. |
