Default What year did they use these oil pan

I believe this was used for truck ,but never saw 2 piece with clean out . Only on 8 ba s .Was these rare pan ? Thanks in advance

Yes it will fit 35 to 47 ,the 8 ba was truck engine in 48.but only seen 2 piece oil pan for early Flathead s without clean out .Was this for the bigger trucks? If so what year? Thanks Charley and Hello it's been awhile , hope life been good to you.

I got one. It came out of a 48 mercury with a 59AB motor. Thats all i can tell you

I had one of those. I think they were standard issue on the heavy trucks and bus.

Glenn, that oil pan will work on '35 to '48 FH engines, not including the 8ba type engines used in '48 trucks. That pan would not work on engines earlier than '35 because they would not have the ventilation system that started in '35.

I have a couple of those and did some research which indicates they were from canadian military trucks.

Trucks up to '47 with the 11" clutch. You can service the clutch without having to remove the pan by removing the lower half of the flywheel cover.

What the above poster said.. Trucks with 11" clutch.. They are actually quite popular and carry some Value.. I have 4 NOS but two are missing the rear section.
