Default 1939 3/4 ton of new fun

As if I dont have enough to work on this truck found it way to Ohio.

Looks like bottom of ront fenders are cut for some reason. How rare are the big truck fenders

I was able to locate some parts for my 40 Tonner about 8 years ago from these folks ([email protected]). They may have the fenders.

the front fenders are the same for 3/4 , 1, 1 1/2 ton trucks, military had the fenders cut like this so the mud, snow pack could get out from under the fenders, I have seen some sawn out others cut out and rolled to resemble factory fenders

Good for you for saving one of the 'Tonners. I have a '39 3/4Tonner on the "someday project" list, mine will need a bunch of work but it'll save. Have fun with yours, Paul

Intresting information on the front fenders. What would make a military issue truck? Yes we deffinately like the trucks now I have 1 ton 3/4 and wifes 1/2 ton.
