Refresh my memory on starter drives
My memory is foggy about differences in the Model A bendix drives vs the Early V8 starter drives.
I think the bendix springs are wound the reverse of each other. Anybody with a better memory recall just what is different in these two starter drives? Both starters have to turn CCW in order the engine turn CW for starting. Also they both drive to the front of the car to engage the flywheel. Am i thinking right on this? |
