Default Feeling a little stupid today

Got a call from a friend that is new to T's. He had some questions about operation and also had a worn out brake band. I have replaced linings quite a few times and went to help him out.

It went bad. I know better but we were visiting quite abit while doing it and I missed removing one of my shop towels from the hogshead after I installed the adjusters. That really puts a bind on things when you crank the engine over and it gets tangled up in one of the triple gears. Ended up removing the hogshead and did manage to get all of it out with no damage.

Felt kind of bad. He called me since I was supposed to know what I was doing. So much for that. I have always counted the number of shop towels in and shop towels out except for today. Will never make that mistake again.
