1930 1931 Ford roadster body and frame
City:
Spokane
State:
WA
Price:
4,000.00
My Brother is listing his 1930/31 Ford roadster body for sale. I originally bought this car last year were it had been in a barn since who knows how long. I sold it to my Brother and he recently bought another roadster so now this one is up for grabs.
It is a pretty complete body and frame. Frame is nice and strait with the exception of one crack near the steering box. Should be a pretty simple fix. This is the frame that came with the body...I have no idea if it is the original frame to the car, but should make no difference. The body is very strait for what it is. It has no stress cracks. The subframe is very nice. Has the holes broke out were it mounts to the rear crossmember, again very common and easy to fix. Has typical rust in wheel wells, quarters and cowl. Most of those spots someone has screwed a galvanized patch over them. Nothing was cut out behind the patches. Both doors have a small amount of rust at the bottom, but at VERY SOLID for original doors. Doors both open and shut. Deck lid is a rumble and looks solid. No hinges with lid. Firewall is nice as is the gas tank. He has a chopped windshield frame with stock stantions that goes with it, along with the small roadster only package tray and the rear seat riser. This is a very nice start to a roadster project. It needs some work, but all the patch panles are available and CHEAP. Asking 4,000.00 OBO. Any questions PM me here or call my Brother Corey at 509-954-4505

Heres the body on my roadster frame the day I got it. Gives you a look at what it would look like as a roller

The gas tank makes it an early 30.
