Default rubber pad on bottom edge of door?

is there supposed to be a rubber(?) pad on the bottom door edge of a '29 coupe? if so where do you get them?

Yes, there is a rubber strip or pad on the bottom of the door. You can get them through any Model A repro parts house.

There was once a thread on here about that very thing a few months back but have no idea where it is.

My 1929 Tudor came with one as did the coupes.

I think it is spelled out in the Service Bulletins somewhat.

It looks like my coupe is supposed to have a rubber pad about the size of a stamp on the bottom edge is that correct? If so where do i get them?

I think he is asking about the bumper that goes in this bracket on the bottom of the door.
Maybe the one in the center of the picture.

Their is a square rubber bumper that fits in a clip attached to the bottom rear of the door, that helps prevent the door from rattling when the body flexes that is in the door rubber bumper set sold by Model A dealers. It is about 1 1/4" square. Also, their is a rubber seal fastened to the door panal that prevents a draft, that runs the entire length of the door. Also their is a rubber bumper above the door screwed into the wood, that also prevents the door from rattling.
