Default Distributor Drive Gear

Hope I can change the distributor drive gear on my 30 Roadster without dropping oil pan. Can this be done after removal of the valve cover? Any info would be appreciated. Bud

Yes. remove dissy 1st, valve cover. ,spring, then it will lift up & out. You may need to retime the dissy after all back together, hope this helps,

And going back together can be a challenge to get that "prong" lined up with the oil pump. Just play around with it moving it a tooth at a time.
