Default The A-5724 Rear Spring Clamps

According to the October 1, 1928 Parts Price List, there are two types of A-5724 Rear Spring Clamps.

One is A-5724-A and the other is A-5724-B (Pickup).

I am having trouble inserting the bolt through the clamp when assembled to the spring....This is for a 1928 Open Cab Pickup.

I am sure that I have the right assembly of spring leaves for the pickup but now I wonder.

Either I have the right set of springs and the wrong clamp OR I have the wrong set of springs and the right clamp...I do not know.

I followed Marco's chart in the assembly of the springs.

How much of a difference is the A-5724-A comparied to the A-5724-B clamps?

Thanks.

Pluck
