Default Deluxe Roadster Question

Even though the deluxe roadsters upon introduction in 1930 (my only reference on this subject is the dealer letter on pg 80 of how to restore your model a vol 6) came with a rumble seat as standard equipment could someone special order one with a trunk? I

I suppose the answer to your question is Yes, but it begs the question of why would someone have?

While the factory was more open to custom orders then as opposed to today, people back then purchased what was practical for them. So, why do you suppose someone would choose the Deluxe over the Std yet want the trunk? With the exception of a short time, most Deluxe Roadsters came with a luggage rack which would have been considered a nuisance and unpractical when used in conjunction with a trunk in my view.
