battery voltage reducer
Have got several 12 volt batteries (boat camper) I can temporarily use till my project is road worthy is there a voltage reducer I can use? Might be Awhile so really don't want to buy a 6 volt till it's ready.

What exactly do you want to do with the battery?
For temporary use. With the exception of the lights, and horn you only need a ballast resistor for the coil. The generator will charge the battery, the starter will run on 12 volts as well.

As Mike V said, lights. It is easy to forget and step on the brake pedal- POW! No more rear light bulb.
