Normally 28 roadsters have a manual wiper. Someone must have installed a vacuum or electric wiper. You didn't state what type of wiper you have and the model number. Ford used several wipers on model A's. You could have an aftermarket wiper. More information is needed.

If it is a vacuum unit, I would contact Ficken. He did a great job on mine. I thought the price was reasonable, and the turn around time was pretty good.

I got a ignition switch from John and it is excellent. Restored correctly and works every time. He does most of his rebuild work over the winter so be patient and work with him. He'll treat you right. John Poole

No model A wiper works as good as RainX.

Have you tried running ATF thru the wiper to soften up the leather and dissolve the harden goo?

Clem, there is not any leather inside of Tom's wiper as it is an electric motored wiper.
