Removing wood
I have a '31 tudor and want to remove the wood from the "B" pillar area and from the rear of the side windows. I have read that these pieces of wood are screwed in the channels before the body is assembled. Were the screws put in at the same place on every sedan body or were the just put in randomly? If they were put in the same place every time what is the measurement from the top or the bottom of the wood piece. I was thinking I could use a hole saw to cut around it and make getting the wood out easier without having to destroy it in the process. Any info on this?
Thanks in advance. |

Re: Removing wood
I cant help you with measurements but you might try a stud finder on the B pillar If there steel screws.
