All the regular MSD/Mallory vendors are showing it backordered until , March 30th at the earliest.
A Sierra 18-5397, from a boat store, can be used.
A lot of marine applications for the 4 cylinder distributor.

We have used V8 caps on the 4 bangers with NO problems,...and this was on race cars.

Trivia: For more modern Mallorys, you can get an 8 Cyl cap that fits perfectly & just use every other hole! Looks COOL!

All were back ordered to late Mar. or mid Apr. Can anyone verify the Sierra 18-5397 and where to obtain?

Thanks Guys, The Sierra 18-5397 marine did the trick. Box says replaces Mallory 271B which I would guess is for a boat. Only difference I can see is a thin "O" ring in the cap.

You came out ahead then ! That O ring is to prevent water from entering. Better quality item.
