1928 Rear Drum Taillight body
It does not say in the Standards, that I could see, but was the 1928 Rear Drum Taillight body used for cars, made of steel or brass? I believe all commercial and truck bodys were steel...were they not?
Thanks. Pluck |

I could not agree with you more on that subject. HOWEVER...I bought one to from A and L and the problem with the one I have is that it is slightly smaller than my original...Yes, you can visually see the difference. I had a slightly hard time fitting the original glass and the STOP was hard to place also but got them in as where the fitting of these original parts into an original was good. When assembling onto the taillight bracket it is then you can see the size difference. Been meaning to tell them about it. Otherwise yes...a very nice part. Wish there was a way to make the steel shell nonmagnatized! Pluck |
