Default how to remove front hub inner bearing seal?

hello
i have been working on my brakes i am replacing the bearings on the frt. the hub inner bearing seal i can not get it off the backing plate,spindle . what it the best way to remove the old one

Probably really don't need to replace it
Just clean it all up and, you should be good seeing that its just something to keep the dust and dirt out of the bearing.

Take out the 4 bolts and it should come right off, unless caked with grease and grime then you may need to pry it off.

Clean of all the excess grease adnd dirt , then pry it off with a screwdriver. ken

When it goes back on you may have to peen the edges. It should be a tight fit. You do not want that thing rattling loose

If the seal isn't rusted in...
After you pull the drum reinstall the nut on the end of the axle, then place the drum over that so the nut will catch the seal, then give it a good pull.

The seal in't in the hub (drum), it's bolted to the backing plate and spindle.
Actually, it's more of a retainer rather than a seal.

What's sad is I just packed the front wheel bearing about a month ago...and I still brain-farted.
