Rear brakes on '42 pickup
My right rear brake is tight, I had noticed this when towing it into the driveway to do the brakes, I'd assumed it was either a issues with a stuck wheel cylinder, or the ebrake cable had been pulled and froze up.
After rebuilding the wheel cylinders, the drum when on pretty hard...in a hurry to bleed the brakes, I disregarded it. So, after getting the clutch freed up today (thanks again rotorwrench!) I pulled the drum again and there is plenty of slack in the ebrake cable. I turned the upper adjusting bolts Counter clockwise with no effect...my lower anchor pins have no adjustments that I can see or tell of, unless it's behind the brake shoes where the anchor at the bottom? I could post a pic if needed, finally found my camera cord. |
