If I had the F150 4-speed w/OD it sure would be in OD still rubbing against my leg as OD would be in the same position as 3rd in a standard 3 speed transmission.

If buying a Mitchell Syncro Trans there is an option to have the shift lever bent slightly toward the passenger side. This option provided more driver leg room for my car.
Would think a std shift lever could be bent in similar fashion.
