Default Extending tail pipe to rear of car

I have a 31 sw with AC . The condenser for the AC unit hangs from the bottom of the body behind the rear end not to far from the end of the exhaust pipe . I would like to extend the exhaust pipe past the condenser . Any one have any tips on doing this .
Thanks for all responses.

Some vendors offer an "extension" for a station wagon that might work, or visit a muffler shop that "bends" their own. FWIW

Small world, just did that last week. Had a muffler shop bend it for me. Hopefully the turndown may help keep some exhaust film off the chrome, too. It's not as close to the ground as it looks....

the extension for the station wagon requires you to cut the tail pipe at the muffler. It comes out dead center of the back of the car. It requires a special mount (included) that bolts to the passenger side spring bar. You should check first to see if it will interfere with your condenser. I would go to a muffler shop and have it custom made, probably cheaper too.

Genlemen ;

Thanks for the response . Trying to get as much heat as possible away from the condenser . Kingbee , did you look at routing the exhaust extension over the axle housing ?

Why did Henry engineer the tail pipe to stop so far under the car anyway?

One thought is ease of maintenance. The longer pipe cannot be removed without putting the car on a lift if it was a one-piece unit. Another thought is the extra 15 cents it might have cost.
