1939 Standard Coupe
City:
Bozeman
State:
Montana
Price:
Auction
My 1939 Standard Coupe is up for bid at the following auction website.
https://belgradeonlineauctions.hibid...an-mt/?cpage=5 Some years back I bought it from the Volo Car Museum in Volo, IL. It is an older restoration and a good driver. The upholstery is new. It is a clean car and has directionals. I put a banjo steering wheel in it because I like the way it looks. The body is very solid. Closing the door probably has the same sound that it had when new. The engine is strong. It has an alternator. Told that it has a higher capacity radiator. The odometer (58,441), speedometer, fuel gauge and ammeter all work fine. When started the oil pressure is near 15 pounds. As it warms up it drops to 1 to 2 pounds during idle and about 8 to 10 pounds when driving. I bought a new oil pressure sending unit and an original NOS oil pressure gauge. Was going to see if adding these would register a different reading. We are moving to a smaller house that has no shop therefore I need to sell a couple cars. My loss could be your gain.
