Thumbs up stained door panels

My door panels and top material are stained from old age ?? Can you dye them or please tell me what to do. I do not want to buy new. I tried the awesome full strength with no luck. Thank you in advance for any help Having three model a is a little hard money wise.

They can be dyed, or first try some steam cleaning.

Yes a box of brown Ritz dye mixed with water in a spray bottle get it wet and
I rubbed it in with a sponge. All done on the car when dried I'm happy. That dye is like a dollar. I found to spray rub in spray and rub in so it will be even.

Probably most that sell paint will offer a dye that is applied with a paint gun . The dye that I have used smelled like it was lacquer base . The label stated that if thinning was needed to use high grade lacquer thinner . I have used the dye on vinyl and convertible tops . I dyed the white top on my adobe beige 57 Chevrolet convertible black and it worked perfectly . When using dye I always wet the surface down with medium or fast enamel reducer and dry with a shop rag before spraying on the dye . If lacquer thinner is used for the wipe down , the dye will later peel . The dye dried to a nice semi gloss black like a new black top might have .I have also used it on model A top material with excellent results . .

with the ritz dye, how much water to a box of the dye?
