in a 34 but I think it is newer

It's an early 36 clock mirror. The face stayed black until around May of 36 when the face changed to brown to match the wood grained dash and brown instruments.

For completeness, There was also an 8-day string wind clock introduced in October 1935.

There was one on EBAY last week .Sold for less than $300.
