Default I am finally back on the forum

I got my 55 mercury to the point where it ready for paint? but now I have two projects going but I think this one is a little worst than the last motor switch a302 five speed into a 1953 Vicky. is this going to be as easy as the 302 in to the 55 merc?

Check with various hot rod manufacturers. Fat Mans, Butches, Classics. Just pick up a couple of hot rod oriented magazines and they will have adds for a bunch of places that make that stuff.

http://www.butchscoolstuff.com/52-53...t-kit-2501cpb/ I have helped several guys through this swap in my H.A.M.B. 1952-59 Ford Group we have a HUGE "what fits" file and pictures of the install,I strongly suggest you join the Group (it's free) Also with the Butch's kit note there are two a 15" and a 17" it shows you how to measure for the correct one, this also determines which oil pan you will use.

Brockman (the muffler people) shows a kit for a 53 in their catalog. They say bolt in.
