I am looking for a choke cable to fit 226 6cyl with 7HA carb. it is a H motor in a 1948 ford coupe, do you have any thing usable. Ed

I did not know there was a bracket, some one put in a aftermarket cable that does'nt work very well, the bracket is a start what do you need for it. thanks Ed

You would be better off useing a full rod type connection from firewall to carb choke lever 10 1/4" rod which are availible from any vendor instead of trying to find one of those 1/2 rod and 1/2 cable deals you keep looking for.Their verrry hard to find one thats even workable. ken ct. OMO

I did find a throttle cable that i can shorten and replace knobe to make in to choke cable, but i would rather find the correct cable, they are out there, people are taking the 6 out and putting in flathead 8's or worse yet putting in chevy motors and the cable is of no use to them. I have to believe that some one out there has one i just have not found him yet. ( the cable does't have a rod it is all cable from knob to the end that hooks to choke lever)
