What Color is my car
Hi,
Any idea if this is a Ford color(primary Body color)? It looks more greenish to me. How about the trim? Thanks!! Last edited by Dan1928; 12-03-2017 at 10:18 AM. Reason: License Plate |

Re: What Color is my car
Dan,
I'd suspect your car was painted to resemble 'Dawn Gray, Light & Dark' as used in 1928. Unless you know which manufacture made the paint (PPG, DuPont, Sherman-Williams etc.) a perfect match will be difficult as each mfg. uses different tints to create colors. Interesting horn, not found in the Judging Standards, but era correct ! JB |

Re: What Color is my car
Dawn Gray is actually a really light green. This tan color looks more like Arabian Sand. I don't now if that's correct for a '28, but it looks good.

Looks very nice. Clean lines and a good color combo.

Re: What Color is my car
Really looks like Bonnie Gray and Chelsea Blue, a '29 color, to me. They're a bit more greenish in hue. Technically, neither that combination nor the drabs are correct for a '28, but its a nice looking car.
