Just being 80 years old does not automatically make it worn out. And, wear items can be replaced or adjusted. This old tooling may require more skill and time than the new stuff, but look at all the complaints on here about shoddy workmanship by "modern" shops!

K. R. Wilson Babbitt tooling is a hard route, starting from scratch knowledge. Just about all the Align-Bore frames were used with lack of oil on the bar bearings.

Hard to find reamers that are any good, as dings, rust, ect. have taken there toll.

The reamers have to be .001-50 to .002-00 under what ever crank size you have. You would have to have them made.

But wall hangers , no worries.

Nothing that can't be fixed, but WOW!

Herm.

I think Gary Johnson did have a complete key cutting unit for sale (--grossly different than a Combination Machine unit IMHO!! ). He might be willing to sell you a copy of his booklet.

Original question. THE combination machine stand $500 paid $450 & $850 for 2 more with the gearbox, pullys, motor. The tooling add $3 to $5000 .
Key cutters fetch $150 (price paid) at Hershey two years in a row. Makes a very nice key.
Sorry none of this is for sale.
