Default Simplicity, Waterbury Hall, or Ammco connecting rod borer

Am seeking an owner of one of these machines who may be able to help me with some machine dimensions. Just PM me.

My machine is a Storm #24 so I am not much help to you. I may be wrong but I though Rich Falluca had a surplus Ammco that he was selling on eBay at one time. I think Herm had several different units but a Hydro-borer and a older version of the Storm 24 was the two he used I think. Maybe you could get in touch with his son and see what he had??

I would also call BJ at Ron's, and also call Russ out at Paul's R&B to see if they have any of those machines either in-service, -or maybe as a spare. Outside of that, there isn't that many of those surfacing it seems.

Thanks Brent. I did think Rich at AER had one. I do stop by his place occasionally so I will ask.. I was given a Simplicity machine which had the two opposing boring heads removed and need to construct a couple of heads. I have the blue print drawn pics which were originally submitted to the U.S. Patent office, but they are not dimensioned. Simplicity in Port Washinton Wisconsin has been sold off a number of times and is basically a tractor mower company. No longer makes or markets the nice early engine rebuilding equipment they once made.
