Hi Vic.
Tom here from Oz, down under.
Just touching base to pick you or your collective brains "during the lunch hour sessions" as what this part may be off. It has to be Ford open car , a four door variety.
The hinge is very indicative of 35-40 ford though both mounting faces have 4 bolt holes. Im tipping say 39/40 convertible sedan??
Any info/leads I would appreciate as I would like to pass it onto someone,, who may really need it as there is no convertible/sedans here in Oz.

That is a 'B' pillar support and hinge for a model 40 33-34 Roadster. The hinge bolts to that piece thru the wooden B pillar.

I'm thinking about converting to tube shocks on my '39 Convertible Sedan. Can any of you recommend a good after-market kit? If possible, I would like to be able to bolt everything on. Thanks.

Because there's more to a Concours d'Elegance than cars.
