52 F1 speedometer drive gears
I have a remote shift 3 speed running a converted stock rear end to 3.54 on 6.5 x 16 tires. Parts book doesn’t list a drive/driven gear set for that setup. Has anyone successfully found a drive/driven gear combo that will work with a 3.54 to keep the speedometer and odometer accurate?

Re: 52 F1 speedometer drive gears
JB - in the 48-52 Chassis Catalog you’ll see in the chart a 20 tooth 3 speed driven gear 01Y 17271-C, and in a separate listing the 8 tooth driving gear 21C 17285-C. These, as you say, are not listed as working together. But if you go to the Green Bible these same parts are listed together (same numbers) as fitted to the 42-47 Commercial 3 speed. They are shown to yield a 3.54/1 final drive when teamed with 6.50-16” tires. Stu
