I will be using Sarah, off to do some Hickory Golf this Monday too. I missed the 1st Annual Hickory Golf Day, 1 May. I've been so cooped up in this village, I'm about read to burn the whole place down.

Bump.....now before it gets lost again. Finding things when you get old can be daunting especially things that have shrunk from old age. I've an old garage just down the street, be back shortly.

It's the only business structure left in town and I wanted to by it and turn it into my Texaco Station but....it floods almost every year. Hasn't been a garage for years now.

I like the garage with gun slits in the roof......to keep the enemy at bay.

And that's the first time I've seen a log corn crib, but you'll have to fill in the windows.

Actually Tom, that's the Shaw Homestead and the founder of this village. He was a frontiersman/riverboat captain and also that house was a Mississippi River boat stop.
It's being restored by a friend of mine. A couple of years ago, it couldn't be seen from the road that passes just in front it was that over grown. It has a double chimney.

We have log cabins all over this county and mostly still lived in.

I have come to the conclusion that most people do not drive their A's, or they do not know how to operate the camera on their phones. Maybe both. Either way, this thread is... DEAD.
