Re: How Many Years Have You Owned Your Car Or Truck?
The cars/trucks I still have, I've owned for a while. My dad bought the '66 Lincoln Convertible new in November of '65, he also bought the '68 Jaguar E-Type new in '68. I bought my '53 Crestline Sunliner in '73, the '39 CS in '91, the '47 Ford Convertible in '95, the '55 Studebaker Speedster in '98, '51 F-1 in '98, the '39 LZ in '99, the '63 Studebaker Avanti in '01, the '49 Lincoln Cosmopolitan Convertible in '05 and the '53 F-100 Panel Truck in '07. I've only sold two antique cars that I've owned, a '48 TuDor Sedan, when I got drafted in '69 and a '46 TuDor Sedan when I moved to Florida in '92.

Re: How Many Years Have You Owned Your Car Or Truck?
Wow, lots of these cars have been owned for a very long time. Makes me wonder if in about 15 years more of these Fordbarn "keepers" will be for sale.

Re: How Many Years Have You Owned Your Car Or Truck?
I have owned my '40 in my avatar for 33 years now. It really comes home when I look at photos of me with the car in the early years I had it. The car has held up much better than I have.

Re: How Many Years Have You Owned Your Car Or Truck?
It was Nov. 1960 when I got my '31 Coupe.....and at 15 years young, built my first car....still have it, still drive it.....OK, it's a 'Real Hot Rod', and that's what we did back then....it's a keeper and part of the family....53 years and counting....I guess they will have to bury me in it when it's time.
