Original late 1931 coupes or roadsters out there?
Does anyone have or know of a late 1931 coupe and/or roadster out in Model A land with a trunk compartment?
Thanks. Pluck |

I have a 31 Coupe with trunk. Is there a particular question regarding trunks you have?

1. The Striker plate...is it symetrical or is it asymetrical when looking at it? 2. The two lower Deck Door guides in the lower left and right corners of the Deck Door drain trough...If they can be removed without much trouble, I am interested to know just what the back side of those guides look like and if there is a FORD part number on the backside. The 28-29's are hollow, or have a cavity on those with a part number but the 30-31's do not...supposedly. Thanks. Pluck |

The reason I ask is that we, The Model'Aers, are working on Part 2 of our Rumble Seat to Trunk conversion article and Part 2 contains three items: the small rubber plugs that fit in the Deck Door Drain Trough, left and right; the rubber bumpers that fit in the Rear Floor Pan, left and right; and the Deck Door Guides, left and right. If you possibably have photos of both for inclusion into this article, they would be most appreciated. Please send them to [email protected] if you see fit to do so. Thanks. Steve Plucker |
