Roadster Blanket
Since I drive my Roadster in the winter in SC, a blanket comes in handy. I have side curtains, but the door curtains are not full. They are triangles going from the top of the post to the door. It's cold.
I played with coming up with a blanket that attaches to the bottom of the gas tank and goes over the legs. This way, it captures the engine heat under the blanket. I was able to test my latest version last week during a clod spell. Worked pretty well. Here is a short video of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2Wv1QlQL1E |

Re: Roadster Blanket
Uncle "Pappy" & I used WOOL blankets in a '29 Chev sedan, to keep from freezing, in Tucumcari, N.M. The wind blows COLD there, like a BANSHEE!!
It can get REALLY cold in deserts, at night. Bill Cozy

Re: Roadster Blanket
Neat idea with the magnets.
I think you may have reinvented the driving snuggie.

Re: Roadster Blanket
Hey Jack,
I think you want to sneak a warm water bottle or two under that blanky. We have just done a 1300 km trip around the Southern Cape of South Africa in our open 29 Chevy with a blanky and a hot water bottle each. Worked like a charm.

Re: Roadster Blanket
I thought all snuggies were driving since they all have sleeves!
