Question Know of a good Model A mechanic in Tucson?

Newbie to A's has found a prospective Vicky in Tucson.

I would appreciate the name (recommendation) of a mechanic in Tucson who could evaluate the overall condition of this car. I know Mustangs but zero about an A!

I feel a disinterested 3rd party (knowledgeable about A's) would be the best party to give me the straight scoop.

Seller tells me he belongs to Tucson Model A Club. Would someone there tell me what I need to learn about this car?

Thanks!

Bill

I know a man who really knows Model A's in AZ....
He is 3 hours away in Cornville AZ.
Worked on our Vicky a number of times.
Very nice private shop there.
Shop is full of Model A's now.
Bob Burres is his name.

Getting a member of the Tuscon Club to evaluate a car for sale by another Tuscon member, "might" not be a GOOD idea???? (HMMM)

Gil, Thank you so much for your recommendation. Hopefully, I will be able to find someone within the city limits, otherwise I will contact you for more info!

Cheers,

"Bill to Bill"

That's exactly what I was thinking and that's why I mentioned a disinterested third party.

Thinking that you may or may not get a true opinion by fellow members.

Thanks!

Since I had few "takers" for this question, I contacted the Tucson Model A Club and learned the name of a few good mechanics.

Thanks anyway.

Cheers,

Bill
