I realy feel sorry for the guy that owned this barn and its contents. I hope this serves as a warning to everyone that uses a torch to be aware of all combustables in the area and to have a fire extinguisher standing by. Don/WI

What a shame.. Sometimes we all can get careless, and, even when we do everything right, 'stuff' can still happen.. What a shame..

my dad always tells me not to use any fire in my garage. even welding too! I worked for a guy that lives on the other side of town and 2 or 3 years ago he was welding and his son drove in on one of there quads and it was leaking fuel, the kid went inside and my boss didnt even relize it but he looked up when he hurd a boom! the whole 4 car barn was on fire. he lost about $250,000 in the fire. i learned from his story.

I don't know but I was wondering if it could have been a rod and the report just says Model A. It is close to where I live but I don't know any more than the article.
