Great pictures Mike! Wish I could been there! I bet it was cooler there than it was
up north. 102°! Your `34 is standing tall! Bud

Mike, by chance, was the "Gordon's" van a '46 Chevy? If so, I know the previous owner! That would be my late father! He sold one of them to a guy named Futrell, who lived in Florida, back in the mid 80"s!

Hi Mike,
The Cleveland, OH Rumbler's Show is Oct. 1st 2011. You are right about being about terrific traditional rod & customs. Pete http://www.ckdeluxemag.com/drivin-around/905/

YES, It was a Chevy ! I'm not sure of the year, but 1946 could, very well, be correct. I didn't want to show any Chevy parts on Fordbarn, so I just photographed the back end. I feel sure that the lettering was original. I love that original "stuff" ! I feel proud, of bringing something from your past, to your attention ! Mike, That channelled Flathead powered 1932 Ford Roadster (top photo) looks very similar to the late Fred Steele's similar Roadster (bottom photo) They are 2 different cars, but look similar. Thanks for sharing these photos Mike. |

Mercman From Oz ................... No original 1932 roadster was hurt during the making of this hotrod. It was a beautiful job, done on a repro body. MIKE (mikeburch) |
