Re: Something for everyone
thanks, that was a great show, lots of variety. up here on the frozen swamp we rarely see those big classic era, and brass era cars out on the roads. people have them, but rarely driven.

Re: Something for everyone
Some interesting stuff, especially this interesting turbo conversion that caught my eye.

Re: Something for everyone
I posted on HAMB last year and this year at: https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/...#post-12371843
If you are in Southern California this is definitely a show to attend. The excursion for the 1932 and older original cars usually starts at 10:00 so you had better get there early as that is when the parking lot empties out. The gates open at 7:00, that is when I arrived this year and that is when I will arrive again next year. Charlie Stephens Last edited by Charlie Stephens; 01-01-2018 at 02:50 PM. |

Re: Something for everyone
That was a great show. Drove my flathead Roadster there and enjoyed the show and the weather. Where else can you see Jay Leno standing next to his Duesenburg talking to people and taking pictures and then have a Stanley Steamer, come steaming in surrounded by a cloud of steam and pull up next to Jay. Great day and a lot of Unique Touring cars and a parking lot full of Hot Rods.
