Default '32 frame same as Model A?

Did the '32 Model B pickup use the same frame as the Model A?

If not, what are the differences? Can an A frame be used to build a '32.

Thanks.

Let the numbers do the talking, no it's not going to work, plus the 32 frame is to nice not to use. Strength is also a consideration.

The only two things in common between the two are their names (frame) and their material (steel) and perhaps a few rivet sizes.

Yes very different but you can mount a 32 truck cab on a model a chassie . You'll have to use the model a fenders and box. I have a friend that did this many year's ago and looked great and gave him a bit more room in the cab.
I am sure the purist don't want to hear this so the jalopy journal or hamb would be a better place to discuss this. You can shoot me a message as well , I'll look to see if I can find a picture of Scott s truck.

not the same, type Westcott auto in your search box and it will take you to their site, when there click on tech information, then you can see the differences between the model a frame and the 32 frame

Huh? Mounting the '32 or '33/34 cab on the A frame is not going to provide any more room in the cab than it would on the correct /32 or '33/34 frame.

I took this to mean the '32 cab provided more room than an "A" cab.

Yes that is how I took it, not much more room either maybe 6 to 8 inches .
