Default Pinion gears change

Good day everyone!

I am a very proud (yet fresh) owner of a 1953 Mercury Custom. It is a two door sedan with a pronounced whine in the rear axle. Since the car approaches 100k miles, I except the ring and pinion gears are worn out. I thought it would be good to replace them. Could you recommend a source for replacement gears, please, before I dive into it? Also, what other applications use the same setup? Are available gears only for Ford or do they apply to Mercury as well? I have the 255 V8 with 3 SP/OD.

It's probably the carrier berings and pinion bearings making noise, not the gears themselves. Needs rebuilt+ backlash/ preload adjustment by a reputable driveline shop.
