sound insulation
Who sells the sound insulation that was used on the inside of the trunk lid on a 1941 Mercury etc? It is the one with the many "dimples" on it.
Thanks for a wonderful site. Andrew in Ontario |

Re: sound insulation
I've never seen any of the stock material sold. I removed mine to repaint the car. Was thinking of a Dynamat type material but couldn't find any in solid black with no printing on it.
