Default luggage rack question.

Are all the repro ones the same, comparing say Brattons and Snyders? I saw one on Ebay and it had a Taiwan sticker on it,mayby all are the same? Chrome ones rust after awhile .Stainless are nice in pictures but costly.

I compromised on my luggage rack. I replaced all the hardware with stainless fasteners. Now all I have to polish is the rack itself. I was a real chore trying to keep all the nuts and washers from corroding... Snyder's has all of the stainless acorn nuts.

I don't know if all of the racks are the same.

I do not know if the reproduction chrome plated racks are the same or not. However, I have had a reproduction rack and an original rack in my hands at the same time. The original rack is much heavier and stiffer.

Well,I did see this the one Bratton's sells, the stainless one at least has United Pacific on the box. That is the company that makes the steel '32 5 window coupe body. The luggage racks also show Taiwan.
