Re: Rumble seat pan...help!
The spare tire support slides under the top roll of the lower pan until the bottom of the bracket slides into the lower edge I imagine the 30/31 is wider..get this and fit it to your lower panel,it will give you a reference

Re: Rumble seat pan...help!
I have seen the cast aluminum spare tire supports available, but I have a cast iron spare tire support that was riveted to the curved panel from a rumble 29 A. Walkerlake, its yours if you can use it. I can send pics Thursday sometime.

Re: Rumble seat pan...help!
Should I start over? Yes, that ain't ever going to work.
Not sure exactly what I'm seeing...... It appears the big "flap" at the top has way too much material. John may be correct about the wrong year lower panel. Either way, that much material is bound to be in the way. That is a tight bend over with just enough to seat with the inner panel. |

Re: Rumble seat pan...help!
big deuce: I have everything back together now, and it's working ok. Once I attached the curved panel to the right place and got the front of the floor panel attached to the frame, everything is going to be ok. Perhaps someone else on here would like the cast iron spare tire support. Thanks.
