Default 1936 Ford Pickup

Does anyone know how to remove the door lock from the passenger side?

Thanks!

They are held in place by a set screw that is accessible from the door jam. They can be hard to get loose. It helps if you have the key so you can pull on the lock as well. If the set screw wont come out, they can be drilled, just don't go too deep.

The set screw has a slotted head not a socket head which adds to the fun, spray it
with KROIL etc if it is stubborn.

Thank you! I thought that was how it works but someone has stripped that screw. I appreciate your response.
