I am looking for the length of the 1937 Ford Pickup drive shaft. Green Bible says part number is 68-4605-B but doesn't give length. Also supposed to be six spline and solid shaft. I am trying to ID one for a friend.

They are the same as the passenger car in length.

Yes, the Green Bible says that too, but looking for the actual length in order to identify possible replacement.

Actually, I'm fairly certain that '35-'40 are all gonna be the same length, although the '35 & '36 are gonna be hollow and tapered on each end, while the '37-'40 are solid shafts, FWIW! DD

OK, the 35-38 Pass and Comm 10 spline are also listed in the Green Bible as 48-4605-A but no length given. Anybody know what the actual measurement is? Thanks for the help.

A 35-36 [tubular] driveshaft is 68 3/16" long. A solid driveshaft will be shorter, because of the coupling, but with coupling fitted, the overall length should be as above.
