Default What year hubcap?

I found a set of these Merc. caps for my AV8 project. They are steel, not stainless. They look to match a Merc wide 5 cap, but they are for a standard Ford 16'' wheel. Don't see any like it in the catalogs. Just wondered what year they are for.
