Default picture of model A welder

I was looking for a hitch for my modern truck and came across this company and they have a picture of this model A welder that belong to the owner in 1944.http://www.eckharts.com/images/60years.pdf

Very interesting. Looks like he took the LeJoy manual and put it on steroids.



The Lejay manual is interesting. Written in the days before widespread grid electricity, using this book and some tools one could convert a Model T or Model A generator (or any other automobile electrical component) to virtually any common use. Especially useful for farmers and other non REA types.

This welder person obviously made some money with a conversion?
